TARGET GROUP
The Ludwig-Maximilians-University offers three university preparatory courses. Students from all disciplines can improve their knowledge of general and academic German. We offer the following course:
Course 2: "Intensive German for your studies including Project Work and exam offer (optional)"(1 month).
All courses are offered at levels A1-C1.
DATES AND GENERAL INFORMATION
Course duration: 5 September to 1 October 2024
Lessons: 90
Course times: Monday to Friday, 09:00-12:30, in addition 1 teaching unit project work per day
Number of students (average): approx. 25 students
ECTS credits: 6 ECTS credits
Cost: EUR 460
(ERASMUS and LMUexchange students from the LMU receive a discount of EUR 50)

PROJECT WORK
Within the project work we encourage further oral and written competences for academic context and everyday life and presentation techniques.
Topics: Living and studying in Munich, student and campus life, cultural and cross-cultural topics.
GROUP ALLOCATION
Depending on the individual level of knowledge all students are allocated to one of our regular courses on the levels A1 to C1. Therefore students can study in classes which are heterogeneous in their cultural mixture but homogeneous in relation to their language skills. Allocation is done either by an already existing certificate equivalent to CEFR or based on the results of our online placement test.
EXAMINATIONS
The individual performance is certified with the help of a written examinations. Furthermore you can also regularly take the following exams: C1 exams DSH and TestDaF, with us, as well as telc B1 and telc B2.
