CONTENT

• Academic vocabulary building
• Study-specific issues in German grammar
• Linguistic exercises in academic genres (report, assignments, thesis, presentation)
• Central linguistic functions in academic communication (e.g., summarising, paraphrasing, referencing, argumentation)

Please note: This course is based on the textbook: Graefen/Moll (2011), Wissenschaftssprache Deutsch, ISBN: 978-3-631-60948-4
All participants should buy the textbook before the course begins. The book is not included in the course fee.
