OBJECTIVE
In "Writing Practice 2" you will improve your writing skills in German. You will learn to express yourself confidently and in appropriate style across a range of text genres.
TARGET GROUP
Advanced learners of German who wish to improve their writing skills at a high level.
Minimum lingusitic requirements: Level B2 (in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

CONTENT
Focus: Studies and Career
- Language to increase your range of written expression
- Stylistic and formal rules for writing topic based text genres
- Practice of linguistic functions (e.g., describing, comparing, contrasting, justifying, evaluating, reasoning, taking a position, commenting, criticizing, complaining)
- Writing in different genres for study and work (letters, emails, letters of motivation, minutes, graphics, argumentation)
- Practice exercises in the classroom and as homework
- Error analysis and peer correction
- Individual correction of your texts
The course is also suitable for candidates who want to prepare for the written section of DSH or TestDaf exam.
