In January and February 2022 we offer six-week intensive general language courses which aim at extending and improving your German language skills at all levels (A1-C1). The winter program provides the opportunity to focus intensively on the German language, to learn about German culture and to exchange experiences with international students from all over the world.

Course start: Monday, 10 January 2022
Course end: Friday, 18 February 2022
Lessons: 25 lessons per week
Time: Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 13:15 pm
Total: 150 lessons
Course cost: EUR 1.730, including course fee (780 EUR) and accommodation (950 EUR for a single room in a private accommodation) .


International students at all levels (A1-C1), learners of German with or without previous knowledge


The winter courses carry 6 ECTS credits.


In addition to the course program the students can register for activities of our cultural program locally in our front office after their arrival in Munich. The individual activities have to be paid separately.


We will organize accommodation for 6 weeks in a single room in a private accommodation at the price of 950 EUR.

The deposit of EUR 150 must be paid by 15 November 2021.

Booking is completed only after registration and the payment of the EUR 150 deposit. You will receive a written confirmation / invitation with further information about your travel arrangements. DAAD scholarship holders do not need to pay a deposit.


You must transfer the balance of the course fee and the entire accommodation costs by 01 December 2021 to the Deutschkurse bei der Universität München e.V. account.


In case of cancellation, the deposit of EUR 150 will not be refunded. If you leave the course after 01 December 2021, an additional charge of EUR 250 will be made. For cancellations made less than five working days prior to the course, the entire course fee will still be payable.

After the deadline of 01 December 2021 the accommodation costs will only be refundable in case of renting out the room to somebody else alternatively.
