Guided Walk through Munich's University District

CONTENT: 

The Maxvorstadt with the university district is a relatively young part of Munich. Nevertheless, it is the cultural and scientific center of the city with its two major universities and significant museums. Here, one can experience Munich, Bavarian, and European history. Well-known artists, writers, and Nobel laureates lived here; around Königsplatz was also the headquarters of Adolf Hitler's NSDAP. With the Scholl siblings and Georg Elser, Maxvorstadt was a center of resistance against Nazi terror. Today, Maxvorstadt is one of the liveliest districts, where not only student life takes place.
